Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, plus either a password (stored securely and hashed, we never see or store it in plain text) or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address, and profile picture Google shares with us.
• Optional profile details. Your location (e.g. "City, State") and who referred you to the league, if you choose to provide them at signup.
• League activity. Your entries, weekly team picks, double dip team selection, and results, since that's the entire point of the app.
• Payment status. Whether your entry fee or a buy back has been marked as paid. Actual payments happen directly between participants outside the app (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay). The app never collects or stores card numbers, bank details, or any other payment credentials.

How we use it

Strictly to run the league: authenticating you, tracking picks and results, computing standings and tiebreakers, and letting the league admin confirm entry fees and buy backs. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

What other participants can see

This is a shared pool, not a private account. Once a week's pick deadline passes, every other participant can see the team you picked that week, your overall record, and your standing. Your email address, location, and who referred you are never shown to other participants, only to the league admin.

Third party services

A few outside services help run the app:

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication (including Google sign in).
• Vercel hosts the app itself.
• Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in, instead of a password.
• ESPN's public schedule and scores API, to pull real NFL game data. No participant information is ever sent to it.

We don't use any third party analytics or advertising trackers.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as the league is running, plus a reasonable period afterward for historical standings. If you'd like your account and data deleted, contact the league admin at ian.shepherd123@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since this is a small, private league, meaningful changes will also just be mentioned directly to participants.
